Fleas pls Help

Question
I found a flea on my cat and I am really worried, I was reading on the internet that they be caught on people and that they can infest all the house.

The Cat is always running around the house, he also sleeps with us.

What shall I do not to get my House cleaned and son't get infested and I we caught a flea what shall we do, does it go in people hair???

Go to your veterinarian and purchase Advantage to apply to the cat...this will kill the fleas within a few hours and is the most effective flea product available.  Then I would recommend vacumming everything very well and tossing out the bag.  Fleas do not prefer people but will bite just like any other bug.  They will not infest your hair.
