Dog Breeders

Question
I am going to look at a Chocolate Lab to become our family pet.  Both parents are onsite and I'll ask to see them.  Other than asking about hip problems and seeing how the parents look, what should I be looking for and/or asking.

Hi there...

you need to ask for veterinary records for hip and elbow displaysia, heart disease etc..

look for a shiney coat, happy, friendly puppy (not a shy one), good teeth, no diarrhea etc...

ask your vet for more detailed questions.  I no longer do K9 medicine.
