less activity in dog

We have a 2 year old black lab mix.  The last couple of days, it seems that she has a lot less energy.  It appears as though she shivers when she takes a breath of air.  She used to bark when she wanted to come in from outside, now she will just lay by the door.  When visiting another dog, she will still run and play.  Her appetite seems to be okay.  She doesn't yelp or seem to have pain.

From your dogs discription,it sounds like your dog could have many things.It would be best to get your dog examined by your veterinarian to find out what the absolute problem is,then find a treatment for it.It could be something as simple as the change of weather to something internal.Keep a close eye him.Right down everything he does abnormal.The next day,take him to the veterinarian's and take the notes with you to show to your vet.
