We recently rescued a Black Lab (Buddy) from the Humane Society.  We have noticed buddy has what feel like cysts on his back and sides.  He has approximately 7 of these cyst-like growths.  He does have dry skin which we would also like to treat but are not sure about the cysts.  I am thinking they may be acne.  Any input you might have would appreciated.  Thank You.

It is hard for me to tell you exactly what these lumps are.  Your vet will need to look at them to tell you. If they are just limited to the skin, it could be small sebaceous cysts.  Can you squeeze material out of them?
if they extend deeper,it could also be small tumors, which will need to be excised.
