I wanted to know the procedure and the cost of moving my dog from London to Mumbai.

The following airlines have non-stop service to Mumbai from London
British Air, Virgin Atlantic, Air India and Jet Airways.
Contact them for requirements and cost.  Check with their passenger
reservation people first to see if you can take dog as excess
baggage.  If not, check with their cargo office.  If by cargo, they
will need to know the exact 3 dimensions of the shipping kennel, and
the weight of dog and kennel.
For up to date info for entry into India, contact Indian Embassy or
consulate near you.
Your local veterinarian should also know, or know how to help you.
