Bristleworms

Question
I have read several other answers to this question and still need more help. They are over running my tank. Its 150 gallons and about 5 years old. I have got polyps growing on most all of my live rock so removing it isn't an option. I made a trap and had a little luck, but not enough to even slow them down. I bought an arrow crab, and he never ate any of them. And then he disappeared without a trace. I tried a 6 line wrasse, but unusually was attacked by my clown fishes. He disappeared the same day I got him, I never even saw the body. I don't understand why, they are good with all my other fish.  I have several cleaning shrimp and peppermint shrimp, which actually have had baby's that have matured! I need more options, please help. I am not sure if both the Wrasse and arrow crab ordeal's were just bad luck, and i should try them again. Or maybe a coral banded shrimp. Will it make a meal of my other shrimps or there offspring? I don't have any fish that are labeled as aggressive with exception to the 2 Percula Clowns that hassled the wrasse, but as I said before they are great. My water quality is great I have nothing but good luck until now. The Worms are spiny and one half is red the other a dark almost black color. I have noticed since they stated over taking every hole in every rock that I have lost several snails and I think its because of these little bastards. Its so bad that anybody who looks at my tank fails to notice the beauty. they just ask what all the ugly worms are. Is there a fish that I could get several of, that would do well together to rid the tank of them? thanks for your help

Answer
Go to about.com and click on hobbies, then click on saltwater aquariums, you will find yourself at a site with almost all the answers. I think with your infestation traps are your only option, but check their website. They are my resource when I have overwhelming problems. Gerry.
