Have you or know of anyone that has ever drilled an aquarium for their overflow? It is time for me to get started again, someone gave me an aquarium and I can't wait to get it up and running.

yes i know people that have done it. the key is to go very slowly, it took a friend of mine 10 mins to get through his 10mm glass tank.

also helps to make a template out of ply or MDF, keeps the drill bit from skipping. if you can keep a constant flow of water over the bit you are drilling (this is not to cool the drill bit as most people think) its to take the ground glass away from under the drill bit.
