cloudy salt water

i have 120gal. saltwater tank with fish only. i have two 60 gallon cannister filters and two 60gal. protein skimmers. I've cleaned both filters and skimmers and yet my water is still cloudy! I've also treated my water with a solution which to this point has had absolutely no effect what so ever! i can say that i have yet to replace the filter bags or filters. im lost!

Hi there, Sounds like a bacterial bloom which is not harmful to the fish. I have had these in the past on tanks that are fairly new. The way I have removed it is to run some carbon through the filter. This has always helped within a few days, even overnight. Hope this helps.
