lumps on my fishs side.

I'm really concerned my fish has huge lumps on his side. he is ryukin. he's lost color and the lumps are attached close to his tail. he doesn't even swim around his tank anymore, only rubs against the side of his air pump. please help!

Hi Kelly,
These lumps are probably growths or tumours. They are usually nothing to worry about as they are harmless to fish. However, if your fish is showing signs of irritation i would recommend using a salt bath. Use 2tsp per five gallons of water.
