hi there i have a variety of fish in my tropical tank and among them i have a black skirted tetra on its own but all of a sudden its apeard bloated asif its pregnat and my 2 black mollies seem to be gaurding it by swimming round it raising there top fin if anuver fish aproaches could one of my black mollies have impreganated it asin cross breeded with it

Your question just showed up in our answer pool, so sorry for the delay in answering.

Mollies and tetras, I don't think that's possible for them to cross breed.  I know that platies and swordtails can, and I'm not for sure, but think mollies and platies can, but not with tetras :)  Tetras are egg layers also, where as mollies are livebearers.  They may just be protecting it for some reason.
