Tiger Cichlid

Hello Alex..I hope you might give me some info.. I have a tiger cychild that is about a foot long paired with another in a 55 gal tank..The one in question has developed a large round lump between the eyes.  This appeared once before but went away..Today I noticed it was back and now has a head like a pustule that looks ready to pop..any info would be appreciated..thanks

It could be HITH(hole in the head) disease. It could also be an infection of some sort. You should add an anti bacterial solution to the tank(make sure its safe for fish)watch it for 3-5 days and see how it does. Send me an update after you add the solution and tell me how it looks in 24 hrs after adding it. Ill research it more and see what else it might be.
