Curious & Confused

My parrotfish just had babies and I want to know how to tell which ones are girls and which ones are boys. I want to be able to tell which one's the mom and which one is the dad. I am very curious. I have one other kind of fish in my tank, it's a upside-down catfish, will it harm the babies even though the parents keep it away most of the time?

I forgot to answer the question about the upside-down cat...so sorry!

He is a threat to the babies as long as his mouth is large enough to eat them. On the other hand, he could be injured by the protective parents as the babies swim around more and come into closer proximity to his territory. You might consider moving him or putting a divider in the tank if it gets crazy in there.
