Dust in a tank

Question
I have recently put 2 zebra convicts,1 pink convict and 2 fire mouths in a 55 gal tank.
I have a wired cover on top of the tank, and it seems like there is dust in the water and some on top of the water. What is the easiest way to get the dust out and will the dust kill the fish?

Answer
Hello Justin,
I don't think the dust will harm the fish. They are picky and probably won't eat it or anything, but I would eventually get a cover.
Even if you have a cover, I would then get a surface skimmer to help with dust and improve oxygen.
Here is a link to what I mean.

There are many surface skimmers on the market. That's what I would get even if you don't get a new cover.
Good Luck!
