beta fungus

My beta fish keeps flaring his gill out and has white fuzzy patches under his "chin" What should I do for him?

Ok as you probably know, flaring of his gills is perfectly normal so there is nothing to worry about there. As for the fuzzy white patches, it sounds like some kind of fungus infection. I would do a 50% water change on him and then treat him with some Pimafix. Pimafix is an excellent medication for fungal infections. Work out how much water he is in and then medicate to the appropriate dosage, if it doesn't clear up in a week, do another water change and another dosage of medication.
