well my platty looks pregnant and i dont know what i have to do for it. Shouls i seperate it from the other fish. how do i know if my platty is pregnant.

no. seperating a pregnant fish is not necessary, but the fry will be eatin if they (and mom) are not placed in a special breeding trap to protect them. But if you dont want to care for them, they make great snacks.

live bearing fish (in profile) tend to "square off" around the stomach when they're ready to birth. Usually, the stomach starts to flatten out some, and the scales stay nice and flat. if the scales puff out, your fish has dropsy and will most likely die.
