betta fish illness

Question
over the past 2 weeks the color on my betta's head has gone away. now it is a white/yellow color is this a sign of betta fish Tuberculosis?

Dear Jennifer,
Bettas are well-known for changing their color as they age. And they can change color in just a short time. I don't think it's tuberculosis, as long as he doesn't behave sick and still eats and flares regularly he is probably just a healthy betta who is changing his color. I've had several solid white bettas eventually develop blue and purple patches on their fins!
