SORRY about this but i got another question!
Can i have carbon in my tank while i'm doing the whole cycle thing?
Does carbon affect the cylcle?
And how long do i have to leave tap water out for me to be able to add it to my tank and if i were to use tap water coditioner how much difference does it make?

You can have carbon while cycling, but always change your carbon every week if you intend to keep using it. I don't use any in my tanks.
If you have city water with chlorine, you need to use a water conditioner and dechlorinator. You can add the water right in the tank as soon as it is the right temperature.
