QuestionHi,
I am in the process of fishless cycling my 20 gallon aquarium. I am also trying to plan the stock for my tank when the cycle is complete. I am thinking about a blue dwarf gourami, cardinal tetras, and male guppies. How many of each do you think my tank will hold?
Tank info:
20H Gallon tank
1 - Penguing Bio-Wheel
1 - Aquaclear Power Filter
1 - Power head
1 - Undergravel filter
1 - Heater
1 - Bubble wall
2 - Air pumps
AnswerA 20 gallon tank needs to have 10 gallons changed per week. You could put in 1 blue dwarf gourami, 6 cardinal tetras, and 6 male guppies. It sounds like you are having a very nice aquarium. for algae control, you could try some otocinclus catfish as they take very little bioload and space. You need at least 3 of them.
