Betas and red ear slider turtle

Question
Can a male beta and a baby red slider turtle live in the same tank?

Answer
Dear Andrea,
Can a male betta and baby Red slider turtle live together? Maybe...You can never know the real outcome of mixing two different animals.

They -might- get along. But only temporarily. And the turtle probably will nip the bettas long flowing fins. Plus turtles are very messy animals and would pollute the aquarium very quickly and the betta certainly may not appreciate it.

I really hope this helps!
Best wishes,
Karen~
