Emergency! My bubble-eyes bubble popped!

I have a Bubble-Eye Goldfish and today I just saw that both its bubbles popped. Please tell me what to do. I have so many questions. Will fungus and bacteria grow on it? What should I do to help the bubbles grow faster? Is my fish in any danger? Is it in pain?

We think the bubbles might have popped by either a bully fish or a plecostomus spine.

I have no clue, to be honest. The only reason I can imagine this would happen is if it injured it on some decor or is another fish picked on it. I would definately be concerned about bacteria and just keep a close watch on it, dont treat it unless you see something developing. Just keep it isolated and try not to stress it out too much. Let me know if you need more help.
