bumble bee gobies are brackish or freshwater?

Question
i'm thinking of getting bumble gobies for my 20 gallon tank when i'm a novice, i was wondering if bumble bee gobies were brackish or freshwater, i read this forum saying Brachygobius xanthozona a type of bumble bee goby which has perfect unbroken black stripes and is best suited for brackish, but will tolerate fresh water much better than the other type, but it also says that the Brachygobius nunus(gold banded goby) has less well banded stripes, and occasionally black spots or broken stripes. It is not very tolerant of a fresh water environment, i'm very confused but i can i keep the  Brachygobius xanthozona in freshwater though, i found this website(online fish shop) which sells bumble bee gobies but i don't know which kind, sorry that this question really doesn't make sense but can you help?

Answer
Hi Luke,
Most Brackish water fish can survive freshwater for quite some time. But they won't thrive in it and their lifespand and health can go down drastically. Bumblebee Gobies, like all brackish water fish do best in a brackish water tank setup just for them or some other peaceful tankmates.. Mollies, Orange Chromides, dragon fish...ect.

I really hope this helps!
Best wishes and happy new year!
Karen~
