About the Rocks in Tank

Hello. I am hearing imparied. I have 55 gals. I bought 3 Rocks from the Pet Playhouse store. Those Rock is pretty wild alot money..like 15 dollar. $1.89 lbs. I was wonder if I can get the real Rock by the river outside which i can put in my Fish Tanks? there is no Fish yet it been a while.  What should i do with Rock if i get a rock from outside (realRock)..Clean or washed  ouit drity or whatever your idea, Thank you
