whats wrong

hey
sorry to bother you again but i have just recently noticed that my female guppy's tail has a bit of black around it. why does she have this new colour? she normally has a clear tail with some bluish orangish colour in it.

Hello Fishies:  you are not a bother... Guppies are phenomenal at camouflage...I have seen them go from the brightest orange to dull silver... this is basically a defense mechanism... she may be trying to hide as she delivers babies, or she may be startled about something... she will perk up again and so will her color.... hope this helps... dave
