My oscar fell down

Question
I have an oscar 8'' and 1 kg in weigt. Yesterday(14.3.2008) my fish fell out of the tank from an height of 4 feet. Now its not moving, i tried anti ich, anti bacterial medication and tetra cycle but no use its floating on the surface of the water. Help

I'm sorry to say this but using all those medications was a bad idea. It will only put more stress on the oscar.

There's not much you can do for your poor oscar but wait and hope he recovers. He is going through lots of stress as well as shock. I can't say for certain if he may have a severe internal injury but its always possible.  The best thing you can do is give him some time to recover, leaving the lights off on the tank may help relieve some of the stress. Make sure his water is clean too. I would do 50% water changes on his tank everyday (don't forget to use water conditioner and make sure the temp is equal to the tank). Cleaner water will help with his immune system.
