my iridescent shark s bloated belly

i have 2 other sharks the same and they are over 2 years old i love them but i bought them a friend 3 months ago and his mate died the first few days but i lost another one when his belly bloated and then burst open from tail to belly what would cause this as i lost a angel a few days ago which was a baby as well
