HOW DO I TELL IF I HAVE MALE OR FEMALE ANGLES(BLACK)

Hi Larry,
Unfortunately the only way to tell males from females with Angelfish is when they go into spawning mode. You'll notice if they are interested in spawning because a pair will stay together and defend a spot in the aquarium, while cleaning a potential spawning site. They will also have their breeding tubes distended. In the female, it is blunt and in the male, it is pointed. This is the only time you can differentiate between a pair that you may have so keep a watch on them and if they go into spawning mode watch for their breeding tubes.
