my betta is acting funny

Question
my betta is having trouble.  he seems to be floating uncontrollably to the top of the tank and leaning to the side.  he forces himself into his castle so that he won't go to the top again.  he's in a one gallon tank alone. i feed him 2x daily little bits of food.

Hi Tracy;

Sounds like digestive trouble that is causing gas in his belly. Feed him thawed-out frozen green peas. Just peel one and break off tiny bits to feed him. It may take a day or two, but don't feed him any other foods until he is having good bowel movements and swimming more normally. It's okay to feed the peas several times a week. Especially if he is prone to digestive trouble.
