Strange actions from my Oscar

Question
I have two Oscars, one black and orange the other is albino.  I've had both since they were quite small (about 1 inch) now the black one is about 8 inches and very thick, the albino is 6 inches and quite thinner.  They are the only two fish in a 20 gallon tank.  I have not had any problems with them until recently.  The albino periodically start to thrash around the tank making the water splach out of the tank and almost jumping out.  This action is stressing out the black oscar note by the fish immediately swimming to the bottom of the tank and loosing color across the head.  I have looked at other sites and it sounds like because of their size I need a larger tank.  There is no sign of disease externally.  I have noticed a small decrease in appetite, they both don't seem as eager to eat at feeding time.   When the balck one shows an eagerness to eat the albino starts the trashing so the black one doesn't eat like he normally would.  Any information that you could give or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Answer
Hi Kimberley,
You need a much bigger tank and right away. I'm actually amazed that they are still alive.  You need a 50 gallon tank at a minimum and a 70 gallon would be MUCH better.
