Oranda Trouble Vol.3

Question
Hello Again, I wrote to you on two other occasions regarding my female oranda (lethargy, some dropsy like symptoms, black spots ).I have had her isolated in a hospital tank (I use a 2 - 5 gal buckets alternating her daily into fresh h20)and am feeding her medi-koi. For a brief while she seemed a bit more active and the spotting lessened slightly. I have yet another concern. This past week she started wasting (she was quite robust). Her appetite is very good. I read the wasting/good appetite are symptoms of Tuberculosis. Do you think this is likely? Is this what presents with cancer? (I can re-send my previous 2 questions if needed.) I stopped using a net and have been moving her from bucket to bucket by hand so my concern is threefold. Her, The fish she was housed with, and myself. Any Info is appreciated. Thank You. Lynne

Answer
Hi Lynne;

Wow, poor thing. Here is a link to an informative article about TB. It discusses treatment options and symptoms;
