Thank for getting back with me so soon.How should I handel this? In other words do I hope he just dies on his own or can you suggest a kind way of putting him to sleep,if there is such a thing.He is still eating like a piggy and loves to fight with his mirror.I an torn.

Hi Michele,
My philosophy is to always give the fish a chance to get better. Fish are remarkably resilient. If you do decide to put him to sleep, the best method is to put him in a plastic bag, with no water, and put that in the freezer.
