My goldfish is sick, DESPERATE

I rescued some goldfish 2 years ago that were left in a house for a/b 2weeks with no power in winter. One small one had "cloud eye" & died last month. Now my biggest one had it in one eye. His tail has some blood lines on it. I have been treating with Melafix, salt, & keeping the tank VERY clean. Please help. Don't want to lose him or any others.

Hi Heather;

It sounds like a blood infection called "hemorrhagic septicemia". He needs an antibiotic called "Maracyn-Two". Keep using the melafix and salt. They will help him heal. Here is a good article about HS;
