Question
one day my betta male fish jumped out of a small bowl i had him in temporarily while i cleaned his bowl and it was a far way down! after the incident he has had his underbelly more towards the front part of his underbelly swollen and its been like that for a couple of weeks now, is he going to be ok or not?
also my boyfriend brought two female fishes into his bowl, it isnt a small bowl, its fairly big but ever since they have joined him he doesnt eat at all,all he does is chase them until they give up and go in hiz lil house, then he (i guess)guards them and lets them out oocasionally. is this normal(he won't eat cuz he's too busy paying attention to the females) also when he is chasing them around the bowl sometimes it looks like he loses his balance(he slants over, is that normal. by the way this is my first fish)

Answer
If he is not eating and is swollen, then he probably suffered internal injury.  He could recover, fish can go 2 weeks without eating.  I would remove the females, unless you are serious about breeding betta.  In nature they don't get together unless they are mating.  Breeding bettas is not a task I would recommend, they breed easily, but the fry are incredibly hard to feed.
