Question
I have a tank with a black moor and a few common goldfish in, and i recently bought a large fantail. The black moor was ok for the first few days but now it is constantly following the fantail around with its nose up the fantails bum or nibbling at her. what is the problem and what can i do to stop it?

Answer
Hi Thea,
I'm not sure what you see as the problem.  It sounds like the black moor is interested in mating with the fantail.
The only way to stop it would be to separate the fish.
