blacmore fishies =)

hello, im writing to ask how to tell the difference in sex of my two fish. they are blackmores. one is bigger then the other and the bigger one has only three frills coming off the back while the smaller one has four coming off. i have no idea if that helps but thank you all the same for your help. oh and also, is it normal for them to lay on the ground for periods of time? say about 5 mins or more? all your help is much appreciated as i have recently got them for my birthday and pretty new to it all =)

Hi James,
 Sorry but as it says in my profile, I don't know anything about goldfish so I can't help you with the sexing of them.  

 As far as lying on the ground, that isn't normal.  Are you doing regular partial water changes?  With any fish tank you need to change about 20% of the water once a week, every week to keep the fish happy and healthy.
