what feed is the best???

i have oscars and cichlids.......at present i am giving them
finely chopped  chicken pieces and dry worms.....they love eating it.....and what are all the feeds that enhances the colour of my fishes  especially the tiger oscar.... i also feed them with unskinned  green peas

Hi Sreeraj,
  There is not "best" food.  If you want to go to the trouble of giving them fresh chicken and worms that is great.  Many people find it much easier just to feed them cichlid sticks (which is what I do).  Green peas are also good.  The choice is up to you.  

 The one thing to avoid is feeding them feeder goldfish or guppies. These invariably harbor diseases, such as ick, which can easily kill your fish.  Never use feeder fish.
