MY RED CAP IS ABOUT 2 1/2 INCHES LONG. HIS WEN LOOKS GOOD BUT HAS A WHITE DOT ON IT. I NOTICED IN THE LAST WEEK THE WHITE OF THE FISH IS TURNING GOLDEN. THE TAIL AND NOW THE BODY. WHY???. LIVES IN A 20 GALLON TANK WITH 2 OTHER FISH, I FEED BIG ALS FISH FOOD THAT IS FROM NEW LIFE. CHANGE WATER EVERY WEEK(4 GALLONS) THEY GET PEAS 3X A WEEK, ZUCCHINI 2X A WEEK, AND IS FED 5 DAYS OUT OF 7 DAYS. SOME TIMES SHRIMP BRINE.

Evelyn, besides the fact that your tank is a bit small for how many fish you have in there, it doesn't seem like anything is wrong. The pigments in Goldfish are unstable and they do change color. If he goes very pale or you notice more white dots all over his body then you should begin to worry. Otherwise, he is fine.
