fish desease

I have Mollies and recently I have lost 6 fish .At the moment I have two fish that have a fin disease but I'm not sure what it is called, I can explain what i looks like. On the side of a fish they have those fins that control direction, now on both the fish, one of those fins look like they are stuck together. Do you by any chance know what the disease is called and how to treat it.

Hello Mias:  It sounds as though your fish have fin and tail rot.... which can be caused by either a bacterial infection or even by a chemical reaction.  The best way to being the diagnosis process is with a water chemistry test. Most of the local fish stores will do this for you without charge.  Let me know what the results are.  It would be unwise to medicate the fish without knowing exactly what you are medicating for.  Please keep me posted... dave
