i have a question.. i have been looking on line for about a week now trying to get some answer.. i have white albino cat fish.. and my female layed lots of eggs,.. and i saw that they were eating the eggs.. i dont know if that is good or not.. so i took them out of the tank and put them in another one.. i left the eggs that was left.. were there at.. and on line they said that it takes 5 days for the eggs to hatch..and im still looking at the eggs and there still there.. but there is a little bit fuzz on them.. i dont know if these eggs are duds.. or i should just wash the tank out and wash the plants off.. and that is that.. i dont even know if the eggs are good anymore with the fuzz on them.. to me i think there just bad and i should just wash the tank out.. i put the fungel thing in the water.. and they still look like they have little fuzz on them.. i dont know wht to do.. i dont want to kill the little eggs if there is still babys in there and i should just wait 1 more week that will make it 2 weeks.. please i need help i dont know wht to do.. i have the tank on and with water thing.. and the air pump on as well.. please i need help.. my email is .. i just dont want to have dead eggs with little fuzz on them in the tank.. to me it looks gross and i want so very much want to clean it out.. please help.. no one seem to give me any type of answer.. thank you for you time with this.. evelyn salinas-yonta

Hi Evelyn,
  If there is white "fuzz" on the eggs, that is fungus (well, technically it is a watermold but everyone calls it fungus) and it means the eggs are not going to hatch.  So, you can clean it out.
