spots on angle fish

Hi there, i seem to have a problem with my angle fish, there is whitish spots at the base of her fin can you tell me what the problem is and is there a cure. many thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin,
  Do the spots look like little white dots of icing sugar?  If so, this is likely the first signs of a disease called ick.  Go immediately to a pet store and get one of the many anti-ick treatments and follow the directions very carefully.  Ick is very dangerous to fish but it is also very treatable if you act quickly.
