Question
Hi.  I have a 47 Bow front with about 6 Africans in it.  Last week I did a 25% water change and all of a sudden the fish became lethargic and slow, hanging at the bottom of the tank.  They used to run for food, now they hardly eat at all.  2 of my Kenyi have died during the week and I have no idea what the problem is.  Trying to save the remaining 4.  I don't think I had to many in the tank, but any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Answer
Hi Dave,
That is not too many fish. When you put in the water, did you deal with the chlorine?  Most municipal water supplies have chlorine in them. You need to use a chlorine neutralizer BEFORE you put the water in the tank.   Some municipalities add chloramine, which is more stable, and therefore even more difficult to use and you need to use a chloramine remover, like Amquel.
A blast of chlorinated water could easily kill your fish.
