Betta fish Fin problems

Hello!
We have a Betta fish, named Nuno, and we've had him for about a Month now. Everything seemed to have been doing great until the other day when we noticed that his fins seemed to be sticking together.  So now instead of the expanded, long, graceful fins... they all look like sticks.  They don't look like they work very well and he looks as if he's struggling.  He swims in a big bowl with
bamboo in it, and we change it every two weeks.  We have looked all over the internet and have found absolutly nothing.  Hopefully you can help.  Thanks

I already sent the answer to you, but maybee something got screwed up.  So I'll answer it again!

This is a case of clamped fin.  It is caused by poor water quality.  Maybee from the bamboo, and maybee the water you use is poor and you may need to let it sit foor a week or so before using it in Nuno's Bowl.
