Question
Hi , my name is hanoz and i have a flowerhorn who is suffering from white spots , how do i cure it .
Also one more thing ,my fish is a female and is alone in the tank should i bring another fish or she is fine alone .

Answer
Hi Hanoz,
Buy quick cure, follow the directions on the bottle, and remove your carbon.  Make sure that your water is free of ammonia, and nitrites before you start medication.  Use quick cure for 2 days, then do a 25% water change, siphoning from the bottom.  Wait one day, and do this again, 2 days cure, and water change.  Put your carbon back in, and she should be cured.
Flowerhorns are quite aggressive, and all depends on the size of your tank.  They need 60 gallons of water each to be happy.  If you have a big tank, then you could risk another fish, but it must be the same size, and room enough for them to each make their territory.  She is fine alone.  They make good pets, and the main thing to do is always keep her water clean, cycled, with zero ammonia, zero nitrites, and nitrates must be low.  Make sure that you feed her good quality food with vitamins, and you will enjoy your fish for a long time.
I hope this helps.
