Old pigeon?

I have a pigeon who sits all day on our bird table (with roof) and all night.  I've seen it move and fly to feed, but the rest of the time it just seems to rest.  Its eyes look duller than the usual bright orange.  Could it be on its way out?

Do you know the age of this pigeon? It is not uncommon for them to live 15 years or more. There could be something else going on with this bird, although old age could very certainly be the cause. Is it acting normal in every other way? How do the droppings look? Does it have fresh water available all the time? What do you feed it? Have you noticed any injuries?
