Baby crested pigeon?

Question

Baby pidgeon Late last night we found a little bird laying in the grass under a tree.
as we have a wild cat problem in our area we acted quickly and grabbed the bird.
it can't fly, or not that we could tell. it seems young, but not too young.

we dont know what to do.
please tell me anything and everything i can do to helpit.

im pretty sure its a pigeon, maybe a crested one?
right now it just sits in the back of the cage we have it in.

I have instructions for raising baby pigeons in earlier answers. This doesn't appear to be a domestic pigeon. I am not familiar with Australian native Columbidae, but unless it is a fruit dove type, raising one would be very similar to domestics. This bird appears to be old enough to eat on its own to me.
