Greens

Question
I read in almost every parakeet book I read that u need to give ur budgies fresh greens and diffrent things in their diets not just seeds.When I put greens in their cage they never eat it. I have no clue why.I have just recently started putting in greens about a month or 2 ago

thank you for your question.
Most budgies are really scared of new things in their cage, including food. Keep trying, they will sample the food eventually and discover they like it. It may help to offer some grated carrot or appel mixed with their seeds.
