red and really swollen eyes

my budgie kept laying eggs for about two weeks and she stopped about a week ago and all of a sudden her left eye was red and swollen, today i came home and its just getting worse it looks like a bubble just about ready to pop, what should i do

I'm not sure if the two problems are related or not.  Sometimes, if the bird is sick, they will stop laying so they can have healthier clutches.  

You should take her to a vet.  When budgies have eye problems, they will sometimes try to pick at it, and will end up permanently damaging the eye if it doesn't get treated.  It sounds like an infection to me, one which will clear up right away with a strong antibiotic.
