Are zebra-finches hard to breed? Will they breed in cages?

Are red-cheeked-cordon-blue finches hard to breed? will they breed in cages?

Would a singaly kept canary become tame enough to sit on a hand/shoulder?  Would it be lonly without a cage mate?


How long do all of the above normaly live?
