Feeding newborn parakeets

Question
Hi, How do I take care of newborn parakeets.  Do I have to feed them or the female parakeet (mother) has to feed them?
Is it Ok if the male parakeet is not inside of the care? Will the eggs hatch without the male parakeet in the cage? I do not want to keep male parakeet together with female because since she got eggs she started to attack the male.
Thank you,

Answer
Hello Kama and thank you for your post.
You can get a hand feeding formula from your local pet shop.
One of the other experts on this site has a wonderful website that will help guide you through hand rearing these babies.  I am sending you the link for it

I have read through it, and it is very informative.
You can hand feed them or let the mother feed them and you just make sure to handle them to keep them tame and used to being handled by humans.
She is going after the male as a protective measure, the nest is her territory, and she will fight for it.
I usually do recommend that the male be taken out of the cage if HE is aggressive toward the female and/or babies, however, it will not hurt to take him out of the cage sooner.

I hope this helps.

Good luck and God Bless.
