Can you help me choose

Question
 For awhile now I have been researching into getting a pet bird.  I have done enough research to have some preferences
-This will be a first time bird
-size should be small to medium
-I live with other people so noise should be low to medium
-I want a bird I can hold and cuddle
-talking isn't too important
-I'm away 7 hrs a day mon-fri so a bird that can keep occupied and not go wild is best
 I realize this seems quit demanding but it narrows it down, maybe too much:(. Personally I was thinking of a parrotlet or cockatiel, but I want an expert oppinion.  So please can you help me choose a bird?

Hello teh ideal bird for you would be a cockatiel or peach faced lovebird(they come in Many colors). Handfed just weaned and from a good breeder not a petstore...I find lovebirds more intelligent then cockatiels but that may be just me, Parrotlets tend to be Very nippy much more then a lovebird. Any of the three can be left during the day jsut leave lots of safe toys have an oversized cage and a radio left on low on a talk station perferbily and as long as you handle the bird morning and evening it will become loving towards you and stay that way as well.
