straight bar V single joint bit

mullen mouth   hello ma'am, do straight bar un jointed bit give more comfort in the horse mouth which have got large tongue or low palate than single joint bit?

No bit is necessarily comfortable for a horse but no, a straight bar bit does not make it more comfortable, its the jointed bits that makes gives them more comfort since it has a bit of a leave way in the horses mouth especially when they have a large tongue or a low palate. But, if your horse is giving you any trouble with bits switch it to any short shank hackamore and try again.
